Harbor Hall Groups Explore a New Use for the Former Warehouse

The Community Trust and Harbor Makers are exploring workshop activity at Harbor Hall. Neighbours’ questions about access and noise remain part of the proposal.

Lumina City Community Trust and Harbor Makers Cooperative are exploring a future for Harbor Hall, the former waterfront warehouse in Harbor Ward. The popular harbour quarter sits within Lumina City Downtown, where daily work and local activity take place close to people’s homes.

Harbor Hall Renewal considers possible workshop activity and community use. It is work on a proposal, rather than an announcement of a completed conversion. The Trust looks after the building; the cooperative is developing ideas for how a workshop could work in practice.

At nearby Quayside House, residents want clear information about entrances, deliveries and noise. Nora Bell lives there and volunteers with the Trust. Ellis Park, who also lives in the building, gathers questions through Quayside House Association. Their involvement does not mean that every neighbour has the same opinion.

Samira Vale is planning a proposed Open Workshop Day so that residents and visitors could hear about the ideas. Adrian Moss, a Northbank resident across the river, is interested in visiting without representing his neighbourhood or taking a leadership role. The date, capacity, access details and facilities are not yet confirmed. Registration is not open.

No final use or construction date has been announced. This is a fictional demonstration story; the people, places and proposals illustrate how local activity and different responsibilities fit together.
