Bracken Highlands

The highlands bring together forest work and walking country, with more open ground along the upper ridges. They are a landscape within Lumina City, without a separate town centre. The small lakes and wetlands remain unnamed in this fictional setting.

The valley road leads from Alder Valley to a trailhead, where the road ends and paths continue into the highlands. This route connects the two areas; Bracken Highlands is directly within Lumina City rather than part of Alder Valley. No bus service, winter road maintenance or marked trail network has been established in the story.

Rain, storm weather and winter conditions can affect travel and work. The presence of a road or path does not establish public access rights, year-round availability or a safety guarantee. Ownership, management responsibilities, access arrangements and precise boundaries remain unresolved.

The forests, lakes and bogs provide the upstream context for questions about water moving through Alder Valley towards Northbank and the harbour. This description does not identify a measured drainage pattern or attribute downstream flooding to forestry or any other activity.

Bracken Highlands is a fictional place in the Lumina City demonstration. Its geography is a working setting, not a surveyed map or a guide for visiting real land.
