    Harbor Makers Cooperative is exploring how neighbours could learn simple maintenance and repair together, and how tools and knowledge could be shared. The aim is fewer useful things thrown away and more people who feel confident fixing them.

    Voluntary learning is not a replacement for paid trade work. Harbor Cycle Repair offers everyday bicycle repair in Harbor Ward as Owen Mercer's livelihood, and the cooperative does not offer free repairs in its place.

    Any shared workshop activity at Harbor Hall is still part of the Harbor Hall Renewal proposal. Safety, tools, storage, quiet evenings and clear walkways are open questions, and nothing has been decided.
